Three Simple Habits that Will Slow Down Your Aging Process

We will all age someday. But truth is- some people will age slower than others.Think Gabrielle Union and others like her.In their 40s they look like they are in their twenties (no exaggeration here)

So what is the secret? A multi-thousand dollar cream or maybe the sweat of a unicorn?

Not really!

The real secrets that slow down aging are at our fingertips.

Apart from eating right, here are three other simple habits that will help you look younger for longer!

Sleep

So the “beauty sleep” is real. Depriving yourself of sleep leads to your body releasing  more of the stress hormone cortisol. In excess amounts, cortisol can break down skin collagen and hasten aging.Get  up to 6 hours of sleep per day

Sunscreen:

A lot of black women feel that using sunscreen is for only white people. Wrong! Everyone should use sun screen. The rays from the sun- especially when it is at its highest can wreck damage on the skins adding years to your age.

Use sunscreen to protect yourself!

 

Hydrate:

Drink enough water. On the average, an adult should drink a t least 6 to 8 glasses of water per day. A dehydrated skin loses its elasticity and collapses into wrinkles.

Keep yourself hydrated and your will have a young and supple skin to thank you!
